Privacy Policy

This explains what Newlywed Seasons (operated by Zynocore) collects when you visit newlywedseasons.com or buy from us, and what we do with it.
What we collect
- When you buy: your name, email address, billing country, what you bought and what you paid. Our payment processor handles your card or PayPal details; we never see your full card number.
- If you fill in the setup form: the details you choose to give, such as names, your event and date, time zone, a link to your copy of the planner, and your partner’s email address.
- How you found us: the campaign tags and ad click IDs in the link you arrived on (for example utm_source, or a click ID from Pinterest, Meta, Google or TikTok), the name of the website that sent you (for example pinterest.com, never the full address), the first page you landed on and when.
- Visit counts: we add up how many visits, page views and checkout openings each page gets per day, split by where visitors came from (for example Pinterest). These are totals only: no cookie is set for them and nothing that identifies you is stored with them.
- If you sign up for a free sheet: your email address, which free sheet you asked for and when. These sign-up pages and their emails run on systeme.io (on free.newlywedseasons.com or newlywedseasons.systeme.io), and every email has an unsubscribe link.
- Email records: which emails we sent you and when.
Why
- To deliver what you bought and help if something doesn’t work.
- To send you emails about your purchase, and any emails you signed up for.
- To understand which ads and pages bring people who buy.
- To keep the records we need for tax and accounting.
Who we share it with
Only the services that run the site for us: Dodo Payments (payments), Supabase (our database), Vercel (hosting), Resend (email), systeme.io (free-sheet sign-ups and their emails) and Google (the files are hosted in Google Drive; your own copies live in your Google account). When advertising cookies are on for you (see below), also the advertising platforms listed below. We don’t sell your personal information for money.
Your partner’s email
If you give us your partner’s name and email address, we use them once, to send the one invitation you asked for. We don’t keep the email address after it’s sent, we never add it to any list, and we won’t email them again. The link in the invitation opens the same delivery page as yours, and we can turn it off at any time.
Cookies
Always on (they keep the site working, so they don’t need your consent):
- nws_consent — remembers your cookie choice, for a year.
- nws_region — whether you’re visiting from the US, Canada or elsewhere (from your connection, not your exact location), so we apply the right cookie rule, for 30 days.
- nws_start — keeps your delivery page open after you use the link in your email, for 30 days.
- nws_funnel — remembers your order between checkout and the thank-you page, so the next page knows what you bought, for 24 hours.
- nws_attr — remembers the first page you landed on, the name of the website that sent you, and any campaign tags and ad click IDs, so we can tell which ad or post led to a purchase, for 90 days. It stays with us; it isn’t sent to an advertising platform unless advertising cookies are on for you.
Advertising cookies depend on where you’re visiting from:
- In the United States they are on unless you opt out. Choose “Opt out” in the cookie banner, or “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” in the footer of every page, and they’re off.
- In Canada and everywhere else they are off until you accept them in the cookie banner.
Wherever you are, you can change your mind any time with “Cookie settings” in the footer, and if your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as “essential only.”
Advertising and analytics tools
We pay for ads on several platforms and use the tools below to measure which ads lead to purchases. Each one loads only when advertising cookies are on for you. When it does, it can read the cookies listed and receive your page views and, when you buy, the purchase (what you bought, the amount, and a scrambled/hashed version of your email address, plus your IP address and browser details) so the platform can match it to an ad. Where we also send the purchase from our server, the same choice applies, and nothing is sent if advertising cookies are off for you.
- Meta Pixel and Meta Conversions API (Meta Platforms, Inc.: Facebook, Instagram). Cookies: _fbp and _fbc (up to 90 days). Used to measure ads and show ads to people like our customers.
- Pinterest Tag and Pinterest Conversions API (Pinterest, Inc.). Cookies: _epik, _pin_unauth, _routing_id and _derived_epik (up to a year). Used to measure Pinterest ads and show ads to people who visited.
- Google Analytics 4 and the GA4 Measurement Protocol (Google LLC). Cookies: _ga and _ga_* (up to 2 years), plus _gcl_au (90 days) if we run Google ads. Used to count visits and see which pages and ads lead to purchases.
These platforms act on their own behalf too, under their own privacy policies. Under US state laws, sharing data with them for advertising counts as “sharing” or “targeted advertising,” so we treat it that way and you can switch it off any time, as described above. We don’t sell your personal information for money.
How long we keep it
Purchase records are kept as long as tax and accounting rules require. Other details are deleted when you ask, or when we no longer need them.
Where it’s stored
Our service providers store and process data in the United States. If you live in Canada, that means your information is transferred to and held in the US, where it is subject to US law.
Your choices
- Advertising cookies: open “Cookie settings & Your Privacy Choices” or “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” in the footer. Choose “Opt out”, “Essential only” or “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” and they’re off, with nothing to fill in.
- Email: every marketing email has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing takes effect straight away.
- Your data: email support@newlywedseasons.com from the address you bought with, so we can find your records.
If you live in the United States
If you live in California, or another state with a consumer privacy law (such as Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas or Oregon), you can:
- know what personal information we collect, use and share, and get a copy;
- ask us to correct it or delete it;
- opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information and of targeted advertising (the “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link in the footer, or “Opt out” in the cookie banner, does this);
- use an authorized agent to make a request for you, and appeal if we turn down a request (reply to our answer and say you’re appealing).
We don’t collect “sensitive” personal information as those laws define it, we don’t knowingly sell or share the information of anyone under 16, and we won’t treat you worse for using these rights. We honor Global Privacy Control. We reply within 45 days. Unless you opt out, the categories we disclose to the advertising platforms above are identifiers (such as cookie IDs and hashed email), internet activity, and purchase details. Nothing is disclosed once you’ve opted out.
If you live in Canada
Under Canadian privacy law (PIPEDA, and the provincial laws in Quebec, Alberta and British Columbia), you can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, withdraw your consent (for advertising cookies, use “Cookie settings”; for email, unsubscribe), and ask us to delete it where we no longer need it. We ask for your consent before using advertising cookies, and they stay off in Quebec and everywhere else until you accept. If you’re not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or your provincial privacy regulator. We only send marketing email to people who have asked for it, in line with Canada’s anti-spam law (CASL).
